![]() You must have a successful installation of InformaCast Fusion or InformaCast Mobile provisioned for use with Desktop Devices. With InformaCast on Windows/Mac, desktop devices can be included in areas of interest either by discovering their locations through its Location Services or through an assigned location. The InformaCast app, installed on a Windows 10 or macOS Big Sur device either individually or through Group Policy or Mobile Device Management (MDM), acts as a conduit between InformaCast Fusion and your desktop devices, pushing notifications to the device through Windows Push Notification Services (WNS) or Apple Push Notification service (APNs), acting similarly to the InformaCast app on mobile devices. Note: You must have a successful installation of InformaCast Fusion or InformaCast Advanced (see Supported Releases), with a license key/subscription with allocated endpoint licenses in order to send a mass notification to computer desktops. Similarly, you can install the InformaCast app individually for each Windows or Mac device or you can use Group Policy before they can register with your InformaCast Fusion or InformaCast Mobile provider. Mac or Windows computers running the InformaCast Desktop Notifier will automatically register to your InformaCast server (Advanced or Fusion) as IP Speakers, and be added to designated recipient groups. Installation and configuration can be done individually or en masse.
